I appreciate if someone help me out. I have Subaru Forester 2017 2.5 with around 80k km. I bought this Subaru last year. In summer last year, I noticed its Ac is not working. I bought Ac compressor from one of the salvage and my mechanic installed it. he also filled the gas. Within a day I noticed that I am getting weird noises from my car. I went to the mechanic again, he checked the car and diagnosed that AC compressor is not cranking properly means sometime its crank and sometime its not. He unplugs the Ac compressor connection. Now I want to install it again. New cost is around $1600 , refurbish cost is $800 and from salvage 300 Canadian dollar. My question is that installing a refurbish is a good idea or is there any other option is available. I can see the part no for my Ac Compressor 73111FJ041. Please advise
