Introduction - 2000 Subaru Impreza Outback (Wheels?)

Hi, just joined the forum. Recently acquired a 2000 Subaru Impreza Outback with 36k original miles. With no other modifications, is there a recommended wheel size? I'm looking at 17x8 but wasn't sure if 35 or 45 offset is a better fit. Appreciate any feedback!

The only recommended wheel size is what it stated on the drivers "B" pillar placard.
Changing circumference will also change the road speed (Speedometer) with ABS speed.
Off set wheels will change the alignment parameters and place extra stress on all rotating members.
