Subaru Crosstrek air conditioning compressor

I have a 2013 Subaru cross track. I have had nothing but trouble with this car from the beginning. Now at 130,000 miles the dealer tells me it needs a new air conditioning compressor at $1100. I have never replaced an air conditioner compressor in any vehicle I have had including ones with over 260,000 miles on them. Has anyone had this issue with their Subaru cross trek. Also have had two engines replaced starting at 80,000 miles
