stereo & rattling plastic

Is there an inexpensive cure for the rattling plastic?
I keep the volume on the stereo at fairly low levels, but, still, on some
compositions plastic starts to rattle. Would installing subwoofer in the
trunk help to cure this or does the interior plastic bits
have to be pulled and put back differently somehow?

I want to get an idea of what work and $$s I'm looking into before bringing
the car into an audio shop.

Thank you!

first find where exactly the noise is .... remove the offending part
carefully - suggest asking a dealer or specialist wrecker (you gave no
indication of make or model vehicle) what the procedure is ..... then
refitting, using silicon or similar. Sub will have no effect
