Sold my 83, got a "new" 2012 Forester!

Hi everyone, new here and excited to have a "new" 2012 Forester XT Touring! My previous Subaru was a 1983 GL station wagon, the original Elf Car, which I sold on Bring a Trailer last month. I'll miss it, but it was getting too old and fragile to be useful. I also sold my 2017 VW Golf Alltrack, and we won't talk about that *&%*$! car. I've been watching for a good Forester XT, and found one locally, a 2012 with 90,000 miles on it. It's beautiful. I love the hood scoop, it's a "rare, exotic" Subaru LOL. It needs some deferred maintenance done before I can drive it and have fun with it, but it's beautiful and I'm really happy so far. I was looking at a 2023 Forester Limited, but geez, I just couldn't justify the spend on a fixed income. Looking forward to learning and hearing some good stories.
