I've been looking for a new Estate car for a while, and the Outback came at my from left field having never considered Subaru before.
I'm in the UK, so the only option we have is the 2.5 non-turbo engine.
I've been doing some research especially on reliability and getting mixed messages. Some say they are well built and reliable (although all say regular maintenance is a must), others have warned not to touch the newer generation Subarus. With someone on an other forum who claims to work on them, saying they are now 'junk'. So pretty confused here.
Grateful for a bit of advice. I'd be buying the Outback as a keeper for at least 10-years (into retirement). A good buy, or trouble in waiting?
