I recently got a 2019 Legacy with only 10,000 miles on it! I hear an airy, hissing / whoosh sound whenever applying the brakes. Is this normal or an indication of a problem? As a test: When the engine is off it will do it a few times and then brake pedal will get hard and higher. If I then start the car with the brake still applied, the brake pedal goes down a couple of inches, which I think is diagnostic of at least something being okay? Not sure about that though.
