Hello,
We live in South Florida now but we are relocating to northern Colorado. Our 2015 Forester seems to have a weak battery based on the sound it makes when I start it. Also, the battery is 10 years old so I want to replace it before going to a cold climate.
The Autozone here sells regular lead-acid batteries and also a sealed AGM battery. I believe these Subarus have a high standby current draw. We go weeks sometimes between drives and cold climates are hard on batteries so I am considering the AGM. It is about $80 more expensive.
Do you guys have an opinion on AGM batteries? Is my Forester compatible with an AGM battery?
