I picked up my new 2026 Forester Hybrid about two weeks ago. I love everything about it. After about 350 miles it started to shudder slightly when pulling off from standstill. This was extremely annoying in traffic. I took it back to the dealer and the mechanic gave a nonsensical answer that the high voltage battery was run down. he charged it up thru regenerative braking (which is what the system would do itself) and it still did it. He said that it only happens when the a/c is on, implying that in traffic you have to drive with the a/c or endure this annoyance. Total nonsense. The service manager agreed that that was unacceptable and if they couldn't fix the issue they would ask for a Subaru factory rep to come and diagnose the issue. Has anyone else experienced this?
