Need purchase advice - windshield cracking

My wife and I are thinking of buying a used 2025 Forester with 18K miles. We have been reading online about problems with cracking of windshields and the class-action suit over 2019-2022 models. We could use some advice. How big of a problem are windshield issues with the Forester, particularly the 2025? Should we be worried about this as far as safety and repair costs?
