So although my 19 Ascent is low on mileage my bumper to bumper warranty is not applicable due to being past the 3 years. The other day I noticed a noise under the dash like a hissing or blowing and had no air conditioning. The AC compressor would turn on and off and the noise would be there when I switched it on and go away when I turned it off. I had to wait till they were open today to confirm I was up the creek because I was about 3 1/2 years of ownership.
I just went out to try to pinpoint the suspected leak but now my AC button would not even turn the compressor on anymore, I would assume that by this point there was enough refrigerant that had leaked out that it would not turn the compressor on.
Does anyone have a similar situation?
