Dealer wants $464.95 to replace 4 plugs and $484.60 for a transmission flush on my 2015 Outback with 60,000 miles. Are there any alternatives for this?

My dealer said 700 something for plugs. Independent would be cheaper but that not bad

The least expensive plugs and coils are @$150 online. OEM Subaru are more. If they are replacing the coils and plugs then with shop time OK.

When the TOTAL COST gets HIGH Enough , then "maybe" you will learn how to use your own Tools ...... , Garage , ... Time .... , Insurance ... , Clean-Up and Disposal Processes & Services ! It is The TOTAL Cost of Doing Quality Service to-for John-Q-Public ..... !!!!!

Till then , you are stuck with paying for someone else's ... !!!

Spec plugs aren't cheap and access can be a real hassle with some of these cars. Not a quick job. $2-300 labour plus plugs plus shop supplies plus tax, I can see it. And your CVT absolutely needs a fluid change one way or another and the fluids aren't cheap either.
