Took my wife's 2016 Outback with 95k miles on it to the dealer for the CVT service. I thought $450 for the service was bad enough until they told me about a fluid leak in the front CVT cover. Engine needs to be pulled to repair. Subaru TSB #16-103-16R. That repair will cost $3,200 since the car is 8 months past the 10 year warranty. A local Subaru independant shop will do the job for $1600. I have a case number with Subaru so I'll wait & see if they can help out any before deciding where to get it fixed.
