Hello everyone. I hope I'm not the only person to ever ask this. I just bought my first Subaru, a 2018 Outback 2.5i Premium. I specifically got this model because I did not want leather or a moon roof or a 6 cyl. However, I do want a 21st Century ignition system. The last time I carried a car key daily was in 1999. Well, until now. So, I was wondering if anyone has had any luck replacing the key system with a keyless system (think Limited or Touring)? I looked at the Subaru factory parts schematics online and it appears this is possible. I just prefer to ask before I spend a few hundred of my hard earned Washington's on a box of parts I can neither use nor return.
