I just purchased a used 2015 Forester which did not come with a FOB key. The dealership wants nearly $500 for a new FOB key. They did offer a "valet" key which will at least open the door and start the car for about $70. Two questions: If I buy a used Key FOB from a cart parts company, can it be programmed for my car? Also, is there any way to disable the car horn alarm when I enter the locked car with the existing "valet" key?
