I have a 2019 Ascent and recently noticed that the passenger side DRL is not working ( I am talking about that string of lights around the perimeter). All other headlights seem to work fine. my assumption is that this is probably not a fuse as the left DRL is working fine. Is this an easy fix or am i going to need to replace the entire headlight assembly?

It is not an easy fix but contact Subaru and mention key words "I don't feel safe in my Subaru".
The lighting units are sealed but you can still have an external wiring problem to the light assembly or internal wiring / connection problem within the assembly.
A tool aka "multi-meter" can measure the connection to the light assembly.
A skilled craftsman may be able to open the sealed unit for a test / repair.
There are options, new or used replacement for the moment.
