I love this car but the non-cleatance is a disgrace. If I drive over any ants they're goners. Can't even get under from the side just to look. Went to an off-road shop. The guy had one. He said one kit they sell online messes up the camber. I know that's dangerous. He looked up two others. One only lifts 3/8 inch! Another only lifts the rear a quarter-inch. I'm pretty good w tools but I know nothing about this. Please help

If you want a lifted Legacy, it's called an Outback......Unless you want to spend a LOT of $$ and time COMPLETELY replacing your suspension (control arms, struts, springs, steering linkages, axle shafts, etc.), you could just buy a complete Outback for less, and just customize that instead.

Look into if outback struts and components from a same year fit your legacy, the outback and legacy share some parts, sometimes outback people put legacy springs on there outback to lower them so it might work the other way around to. The other option is look into spacers for the suspension, usually you can find 1 inch spacer blocks that raise it up one inch all around but those may be more for wagons than sedans.

Anytime you lower a car you gain negative camber and if you raise it you gain positive camber, stock the front can adjust I think 1.5 degrees both directions but I believe the back you have to get adjustable lower control arms to fix the camber, not sure if thats only on the newer legacies or not as im coming from a 2010 legacy

Just woke up and havnt finished my coffee yet so I do apologize if I messed up that explanation at all

Yeah thanks it was a lot more positive than what one guy said. He said it was cheaper to buy an outback and then customize the outback. Ohh-kay. That's cheaper than a few spacers? There's another store here in town I'll try them. But thanks for the info about camber. I know very little about

suspensions
