I have some questions and need some help on a repair. See pictures below.
This post is in regards to the 2008 H6 3.0L Subaru motor. This repair is on a Tribeca.
I have attached pictures of what I believe is a rotted cooling return pipe, Subaru part# 14165AA060.

2008-2009 Subaru Tribeca part # 14165AA060 - Return Pipe

This pipe is located underneath the vehicle towards the drivers side. It connects to a rubber hose that is attached to an elbow that exits the engine near the thermostat housing. It is next to another cooling pipe that runs to the oil cooler.
The return pipe wraps around the exhaust header and appears to go over the frame of the vehicle and come up behind the rear of the engine connecting to another rubber hose.
1) Have I identified the correct part that needs to be repaired?
2) How difficult is it to make this repair?
3) What is the best way to remove and reinstall this pipe, I am concerned about getting this bent pipe over the frame and up behind the back of the engine?
Thank you
I appreciate any help you may be able to offer.
