HELP! Parking lights flashing after battery swap!

I concur with the other posts.

After replacing the battery on my Subaru Legacy, all the lights started
flashing. Nothing in the manual said what to do.

I tried the suggestion of using the keyless entry remote to lock and
unlock the doors, and it resolved the issue.
