Headlights interchange

I have a 2005 subaru legacy 2.5i sedan that i messed up the front passenger side just a little bit, i have everything set and mostly back together, my question is that will a 2008 headlight assembly fit a 2005? i know most of the parts are interchangeable just making sure, thanks yall
