driving style will save head gasket?

i never put a lot of stress on the engine, the max speed i usually
drive is 65mph, rpm's rarely ever go over 3000 unless i go fast from a
stop. will putting less stress on the engine through the way u drive
make the head gaskets last longer? or is it doomed to fail once your
number is up?

also, i know there is air passing through my heater core, because i can
hear it.(it makes those water sounds) will this same air go into the
engine and cause it to mess up the gasket or is this air confined to
the heater core? thanks.

It will, and it's not, and if it's an EJ25 engine (2.5L DOHC),
your headgasket will blow within 10,000Km, regardless of how
gently you drive.

Go directly to a dealer or knowledgable service person, do not
pass go, do not collect $200, and get them to refil your engine
properly so it doesn't gurgle.

That's news to me......I have a 1998 Forester that went 184,000 miles
before losing the headgasket.

glaseus' car is gurgling, which means it wasn't filled properly.
Yours was, so what? They last well if filled properly, no news there.
