Hi all,
I have a 2012 Subaru Legacy DIT with a CVT transmission, the 300hp rated model. Cold the car runs fine, when the car has warmed up you can find the transmission slips when pulling away and can can slip up steep hills. Attached is an image of lights on the dashboard, the left oil light flashed. If you turn the car off it resets and then is fine.
I live in Jamaica and the mechanics here really don't seem to understand this transmission so any help would be greatly appreciated. The car has not even done 100,000KM and it has worked perfectly until the oil was changed.
I was wondering if perhaps the wrong oil is being used which leads to it slipping?
