Justy's ECVT transmission... good or bad? (thinking of buying a'91)

With the gas prices now, I've thought about a little Soob Justy. I
stumbled onto a '91 2dr with an excellent body, 4wd, and the
aforementioned ECVT.

I have done some googing and it appears the good and bad are about even
on the ECVT. Does anyone here have any experience on the ECVT or Justys
in general now that they are getting somewhat elderly?

PS.. I haven't driven the car yet, so any info on tranny problem
symptoms would be a great help.

No personal experience with the ECVT but I had an `89 Justy with 5-speed and
I just loved it. Even replaced the motor in it when the first one died.
Fun car to drive, economical, especially for being 4WD. Went everywhere the
big guys went in the snow here except when I high centered and couldn't
exactly hit the ground with my wheels anymore, but being so small, it's not
that bad a car to dig back out again. (-; Not much power at 66 carbeurated
HP, but plenty for it's size, and if the one you're looking to buy has the
fuel injection, should have in the ballpark of 72 HP, so more than enough,
however I've heard reports that the ECVT tends to make the motor feel extra
wimpy, compared to the regular automatic tranny models. Ever since losing
my first Justy, I've always wanted the fool injected ECVT 4WD model. But
you know, it's hard enough to find a Justy for sale, much less one with 4WD,
and even rarer still is one with a working ECVT.

Last 4WD model I heard about the seller was asking $2k firm. /-:

Best wishes for luck with the one you've found, and where did you say it was
again, the price, the phone number, and times I can cantact the seller? (-;
