I have a 2005 Outback and when I make a left turn only it makes a loud clicking sound. Does anyone think that it sounds like I need to replace my CV Axle?
Jack the car up and shake the wheel to see if bearings are tight. Turn steering to the right all the way and rotate wheel, Listen for sounds. Turn steering to the left all the way and rotate wheel, Listen for sounds. Do the same to the other front wheel. Also check back wheels for bearing play. You want to find out where the sound is coming from. Could be a bearing in one of the wheels or an axle, or part of the suspension.
