Re: 2026 Outback Touring XT. Purchased new in January, ‘26. Do any of you have insights or know of other incidents like either of these?
Incident 1)
I drove it into the garage and it wouldn’t turn off. Called Subaru who put me in touch with (Dan?) and we tried every recommendation. None worked: After about a hour, it was still running. Finally had AAA come out and disconnect the battery. Waited 10-15 minutes. It started normally.
Incident 2)
I drove it about 10 miles, stopped in passenger discharge area and turned it off in front of museum to get my husband out. When I got back in, it wouldn’t start! It had been off for less than 10 minutes. Finally managed to slowly coast it into a newly vacated parking space straight ahead.
When I came out 2 hours later, it started normally and has been fine the last 10 days or so.
Insights? Comments?
