2024 Limited -Wired Carplay-

Hello, I am in the market for a new vehicle and I have my eyes set on a crosstrek limited as one of them. However, I am wondering, I've read/heard that the limited doesn't support wired apple carplay or any wired nav. Has anyone had personal experience with this ? I don't want to rely solely on wireless because sometimes that isn't always the best.

My 2024 Limited supports wired and wireless Android Auto. Sorry, can't speak to Carplay.

The 2024 models with wireless CarPlay lose support for wired CarPlay. Folks seem to misunderstand this, and it's not clear (though implied) in the manual.
It's silly. On road trips I plug my phone in. But the infotainment system can be laggy with or without CarPlay. The system is the bottleneck IMO

The infotainment system in my 2024 Crosstrek is bizarre. As mentioned above, it is laggy. Also, you never know what is going to boot-up when you start the car. From what I have read, the new 11 inch screen is problematic accross the entire Subaru product line.
