2012 Impreza Suspension?

I am thinking about upgrading the Struts on my Impreza, and I heard that Struts for a same year Forrester will fit and give me just a bit more ground clearance. I don't really go off road or anything like that, but I would like it if my rear wasn't so close to the pavement.
Any ideas or thoughts?

Bring your concerns to reputable suspension shop and ask about a 1" to 2" "lift".
They will strongly suggest matching struts and springs with an alignment.
The alignment will definitely change and will keep tire wear to a minimum and maintain the correct handling of the vehicle.
What "people" say is far different than what they know about suspension geometry.
