I have a 2012 Impreza and the AT Oil Light has come on a few times during highway driving.
Car has 136k miles. It's in great shape.
Took it to the dealership, gave them $100 and they said nothing is wrong. sigh.
Anyone have any experience with this?
TIA

AT Oil Level or AT Temperature Warning
The "dealer" should have captured the fault and the work order will indicate the recorded fault.
Never trust an AI voice but at least monitor the transmission temperature.
A scan tool will monitor the AT temperature
This video may help but use the specified oil ONLY!
The video is for designed for views and information, NOT repair instructions.

AT Oil Temp. Came on, pulled over to cool off. Leaving the highway to an exit and travel at slower speed turned it off.
I've watched that video. Yeah, kinda annoyed at the dealer.

Check the radiator for proper coolant flow, if there is a transmission cooler, make sure nothing is obstructing air flow at the rad or cooler.
Have the transmission fluid level measures and oil quality tested. Ask the dealer if there is a "flash update" for the transmission controller. Ask if the ATF Fluid Temp sensor requires an update and what fault was recorded.
Assuming your model is a CVT:
