120k Service - Maintenance Questions

Good morning everyone,

I just checked my 2017 Forester XT into a service center at a dealership and got quoted for a bunch of items that need immediate replacement. Looking for some perspective on pricing and hoping that I’m not getting ripped off here.

Head Gasket Replacement (Leaking) - $3851.04
Inner Tie Rod Ends Replacement - $614.05
Spark Plugs Replacement - $585.06
Brake Pads/Rotors Replacement - $576.59
Tie Rod Ends Replacement - $363.21
Suspension Ball Joint Replacement - $227.42
AC System Fix - $197.50

Are any of these items something that I could fix myself with parts and YouTube guidance or a more car maintenance-savvy friend? This seems like a ton of money

Head Gasket Replacement (Leaking) - $3851.04

There is a reason or you suspected a leak / overheating / loss of coolant.

Spark Plugs Replacement - $585.06

But with the head gaskets removed, the spark plugs are accessible

Go find another dealership or seek a second opinion.
