Using E15 in my Forester

I've been using E15 (15% Ethanol content) fuel in my 2015 Forester for the past 6 months, and it runs great!
Subaru does not recommend it, and say it voids the warranty, but at 110,000 miles, that's not a concern.
Anyone else have any experience with E15?

Less corn is better for your car. Google non-government sites for some useful info.

A few years ago, there were Flex-Fuel cars, but the E85 with 15% alcohol should be avoided in most cars today.
Distribution has been a problem, as it was not often aviailable at all gas stations.
The alcohol-spiked gasoline has less energy density than comparable regular gas, so the fuel injectors will have to spray more fuel into the engine. Alcohol can be corrosive and can deteriorate rubber fuel lines over time.
I agree with Chasfish on this one,
E85 or regular unleaded
Flex-fuel vehicles can use E85 or regular unleaded; traditional gas engines cannot use E85 flex fuel. E85 costs about 85 cents per gallon less than regular gas, but vehicles that use it travel fewer miles per gallon. E85 is not available at every filling station.

Oops, I got it backwards, LOL,
E85 is mostly alcohol, the opposite of E15, but it is an extreme reason not to put too much alcohol in your engine.
I am more experienced with classic cars that have corrosion in the carburetor caused by even 10% alcohol. My friend has an old Studebaker and he only puts "clear" Premium in his old car. Gas with ethanol can deteriorate quickly in a parked car, and owners must add Stabil or other measures to preserve a classic car.
Maybe I should say it this way,
if Subaru doesn't recommend it, then don't take the risk. It is not worth it.

Ethanol starts to go bad in ~2 weeks, and you have no idea how long ago it was made. Sadly, because most people use ethanol fuel, the E-free fuel has time to get water into their tanks. So we now have two bad choices instead of being able to buy 100% good fuel. They call it progress.
