Using maps on the digital cluster display

I am purchasing a 2025 Subaru Forrester touring model. What is the best map to use? The dealership showed me how to use Apple CarPlay so that it would display on the digital instrument cluster with Directions, and the route on the center console. That seemed OK. But I get the sense that the native Tom Tom GPS in the Forester works better on the digital display instrument cluster and on the center console. What’s your recommendation?

Take it from me, Tom-Tom sucks really really bad. If have other options use them.

Got it. Do you use CarPlay in your Subaru? And if so, how does it work for you.

Just the oposite opinion.... I perfer the car's Tom-Tom! Maybe I'm not using Apple Maps to its fullest capabilities, but the integrated navigation software works best for me.
