Start-Stop function

Hello, I'm new to the forum. Thanks for the opportunity to participate. I have a 2021 outback. The start-stop function is driving me nuts. Is there a way to shut it off permanently? Thanks. Mark

Yea, it'll cost you a C note. There is a kit for it. Not sure who sells it, but it pops up on these forums.
There is this, Not sure the outcome or reliability.

In the end, just let it do it's thing. It is designed to, it has the upgraded parts, and I got used to it in a few days. When it's hot or for what ever reason the situation calls for it, I notice when it doesn't shut down.

Now, if I could get the eyesight set where it doesn't scare the hell out of me. At lest it can be permanently turned off.

I have 2021 Forester and cannot seem to disable it. It also bucks after engine. Stops then starts. Problem with gear box?

It drove me nuts also! Have a 2020 outback turbo, installed the eliminator myself, love it! Careful not to touch the cameras and be gentle when closing the cover. I cracked my cover, cost me $100 labor and $350 for a new part at the dealer!
