Has anyone received on their dashboard this message?

"regenerative braking limited press brake to decelerate"

I called Subuaru but they did not know what it was. Referred me to the dealer.

This is a super anoying message. I live on top of a mountain and we have a ten mile drive downhill in any direction. The car is obviously at 100% but lately with cold weather below freezing the « regenerative breaking not available please use break pedal » message has been popping up every time the vehicle starts coasting and the regenerative mode tries to kick in. (Im not talking about the S pedal mode here).

What is super annoying is that even if i clear the message, it will pop back up seconds later if the car goes in coast mode and tries to regenerate.

This has only been happening since the cold weather has been around.

The dealer has no clue how to stop the repeated messages.

Try limiting your charge to 90% to enable some room for regeneration. If you're starting at the top of a hill, you will be able to charge the battery further on the way down.
