When I get up to 50/60+mph, it seems like the wind sound is excessive (but not whistling). I often check that the windows are actually shut and they are. It’s not the roof rails, the sound comes from the sides. Dealership said they didn’t notice an issue. Is it just me?

I had the same issue, especially noticeable coming from a german made car. What they use is rubber door seals to fill gaps. What I have done is buy adhesive door seals from Alliexpress. Just search for "car Door Seals and Weatherstripping". Makes a noticeable difference at hwy speeds not only that looks cleaner from the outside and reduces dust ingress. On the front seal I used "Z" and rear doors "V" seal. Ensure surface is clean I wiped with rubbing alcohol allowed to air dry then fix seal. You damage the paint they peel off if need to.
