Recently became a proud mama to an '02 Baja Sport. Right turn signal doesn't show on dash or outside unless I manually hold it in just the right spot. If I click it into place, nothing happens. Left turn works fine. Also had a problem with the sunroof not working. But, that corrected on its own. Read a post here that dealt with sunroof issue, which was electrical. That's why I'm thinking electrical.

It appears that the switch is mechanically or electrically defective.
If a test is planned, you'll need a matching schematic.
It may be a good investment to find a factory service manual and the schematics to match the model.
Diagnostics with Android are quite simple.
OBD II tools are inexpensive and connects to the Engine Controller only.
JDMscan is as simple that has access to the SSM2 protocol but the Android requires OTG support and an inexpensive USB cable ie:
VAG-K - plus CAN USB or (FTDI) FT232BL USB.
A PC version is available using the same cables - look for FreeSSM.
