Oil in exhaust and air filter

Hi guys I'm new to this I have a non turbo subaru impreza gx 2ltr I've got alot of oil getting into my exhaust and airfilter I've checked my timing pcv valve stuff like that everything is fine I'm guessing maybe piston rings or a valve maybe was just wondering if there is anything else I could try before possibly dropping a new engine in thanks

I recently had the same problem after putting a clutch in my 2.5 impreza and it ended up being the most smoked head gaskets I've ever seen. I had a quart of oil blowing out all 4 cylinders within 20 minutes.
