MY CAR IS MAKING A ZAPPING SOUND

When I go to start my car in the morning it takes forever and often I have to jump it and until I add the jump box to it if I leave the key to the on position I can hear a zapping electrical sound so I tried pulling of a spark plug wire from the coil and I shocked me pretty good and I could see the sparking from the coil to the wire is this a bad ignition or what I keep getting told its the battery but my gut tells me they are dumb and not to listen to them because 2 batteries later and its still happening. Someone intelligent please help me.
