Infotainment system used to turn off when I shut off the car and opened the door. Now it just stays on even when I leave and lock up. Please help. '24

Pretty much exactly what I wrote. I'm sure you all know that when you turn off your car your music will keep playing until you open the door. At that point your infotainment will shut off. I'm now having the problem that my music keeps playing when I open the door. I can close the door, lock the door, and go inside and my Bluetooth will still be connected to my infotainment system and when I look out the window I can see the screen still on. I've already checked that...

1) No doors are ajar.
2) Nothing is plugged into the USB ports.
3) Trunk is closed.
4) Car is in Park

I cannot find any obvious reason for this to be happening and no way to fix it in the settings. The only way around it that I've found is to make sure I shut down the Infotainment screen manually by holding the off button down every time. I really don't want to accidentally forget and have my battery drained. Does anyone have any idea of what might be causing this?

As an update, I noticed the driver door (and only the driver door) does not register as "ajar" when opened, so the car has no idea that I even got out and left the vehicle. So I just need to find out why the driver door ajar sensor no longer works.

Could be the switch in the door jam failed. Set your dome lights to go on when the door is open then open the door and press the switch in to see if the light goes out. If it doesn't the switch is probably bad.

I actually just got it corrected this morning. The switch wasn't bad, just stuck. It just had to be wiggled back in place.

Well ya gotta admit I was close. Did they squirt the switch with cleaner to prevent the switch from sticking again? It probably had some kinda goo in it causing it to stick.
