I'm getting ready to purchase a new Outback Limited XT equipped with a #2 package plus a led dome light, an exterior dimming mirror and all weather floor liners. I live in Oakland, Calif. and I have a price quote from a local dealer of $ 35,021 which is $4982 off the MSRP or 12.5% off. I think it's a good price but if anyone here has any other comments or suggestions, I would appreciate your input.

Markets are different from place to place so pricing is hard to justify in different places. $4982 is a pretty substantial discount if you asked me. Im in NC and we see discounts in the 2-3k range for Outbacks. Subaru's dont last long on the lot so if you feel its a good price comparably to your market then jump on it.
