Auto Hi Beams: I'm getting Flashed!

This is my first car with auto-brights-dimming feature, which I love. When using it in my rural area where I live, the brights are on alot. They go off when cars approach as they should. However, every other car in the opposite direction is flashing their brights at me as if mine are on. They are NOT. My car is almost brand new and these headlight and fog lights are the new LED's that seem to be much brighter than most headlights. My headlights appear to be aimed correctly. Do you get 'flashed' at night even when your brights aren't on?
