How to turn off Eyesight?

I just got a 2020 Impreza. I love almost everything about it.

One thing I don't love is the almost 500 page owners manual. I understand that it's because there are so many features with this car, but I also have to sift through all the information that doesn't apply to my car and that's not very easy.

I think Eyesight can be great where roads are straight. But on curvy roads my car puts on the brakes when it's not needed--a lot.

How do I turn it off? Thanks

if you hold the adaptive cruise control icon on the steering wheel, it will convert to a traditional cruise... this alleviates some of the issues eyesight is known for. like the braking issue, as well as driving into the sun will turn off the sensors from time to time!
