After several years of following and enjoying this group, I'm saying
farewell, as I have to replace my '05 Forester XT.
It's been a great car, and fast as all get out. What a sleeper car.
Who would expect that a car that looks like a station wagon could be
as fast off the line as it is, and still extremely capable on the
unimproved roads in the area.
As it turns out, I have to replace Subie with a new wheelchair lift
equipped minivan for a family member who can no longer get around
without assistance.
I guess this sort of sums it up: "Life is what happens, when you are
making other plans." Enjoy life, and your Subies.
BTW, the only Subie problem I have had in 37000 miles was a
bad "drive-by-wire" relay which was replaced under warranty.
