'05 OBXT Obsidian Black (I need help)

My '05 OBXT turbo started making a siren sound. I took off the heat shield and noticed a nut missing that holds the turbo on. I replaced it. I still heard a winding noise from the turbo. I took out the bajo bolt, removed the filter, and replaced it. Still heard the winding noise. I unbolted the downpipe, got enough separation to put my finger in to check turbine play. I feel 1/16"-1/8" side to side play. Is that too much. It is bone stock, 111,000 miles. This is my first turbo experience with a crash course over the past few days.
