Fan setting jump around

2019 Crosstrek Limited. When adjusting the fan speed from one speed to another, (say from two to one) the fan will not adjust to the chosen number. It will go all the way to full speed or down to three but not to the desired setting. The same goes when choosing between any number. I leased this car new and am considering buying it but I want to go to the dealership armed with info they can use instead of hearing that they've never heard of this before. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix? Same issue with the radio by the way. Of it's set on 12 and I try to turn it down, it will jump to the loudest setting. This car is possessed!
