That is kind of a rigorous routine but there are some benefits to maintaining your brakes that often.
The longer you wait to maintain your brake fluid the more likely moisture and bubbles will get into your fluid. Moisture can reduce the boiling point which can make your brakes less effective when you're really heating them up. Bubbles in your fluid can make the brakes soft.
Personally I wouldn't waste my money or time every 30,000 miles. I would shoot for something more like 70,000.
