Replaced battery 2 weeks ago as original battery went dead overnight. Just now, that new battery went dead. We just drove it yesterday. Any thoughts? 2022 Outback Limited XT.

Check that there are no lights like a dome light or something left on. Other than that, have it checked out as in the alternator is working etc.
It doesn't take a lot to drain a battery overnight.
Have them check the current draw with the car not running. This is done by connecting a milliampmeter between the battery and a disconnected battery cable. This is called parasitic drain and it should be very small as in a few milliamps at most. If it's more get them to find out why.

What he said. And check the charging voltage at idle and rpm. Should be ~14.3-14.8 ish.

I've heard of a lot of these problems on the newer Subarus. A quick search might get you your answer.

I did a voltage check, and it read a steady 12 volts. If it is an alternator issue, I have an extended warranty to cover the cost. Thanks for your help.

Worth noting that a meter from Harbor Freight will not likely read even close to accurate. Mine is ~2 volts off...and I threw it away. :)

I agree. My Craftsman died. I ended up buying a Fluke. Not a ton of money and will last a lifetime.
