I have my brake light, AT oil temp, and traction controil light coming on at the same time and at random intervals on my 2016 Outback 2.5 liter. When the engine cools down a while, they go away. My mechanic thinks its a bad sensor. Is that a reasonable opinion as the lights being on does not affect drivability other than no cruise control. Car just topped 200K miles and has been serviced regularly by my mechanic.
I'd rather not take it to the dealer unless I have to. Any one ever replace or reset a sensor?
