can anyone help please?
2008 impreza EJ253 engine was swapped prior to me. they installed an EJ25, assuming WRX? from what I know they did a straight swap of the engine, oil pan to intake.
are the intakes the same? I read somewhere that you need to use original intake.
symptoms
runs rough, greyish smoke
only codes are for o2 sensor
compression approx. 170 in all 4
cooling system pressure tested-good
new coil, wires, plugs
timing marks on belt are dead on
please help!
