The alarm indicator light is flashing when the engine is off, and the car is unlocked. I have noticed it about 2 months ago. The light goes off only if I start the engine and drive, otherwise it is constantly flashing. What is causing this? Should I be worried about it? I tried to fix this by resetting the alarm system; holding a panic button on the key fob for 5 seconds, then pressing the lock button twice. After 10 minutes being away, I pressed the unlock button twice. It did not fix the issue.
