I replaced some O rings on my system. Then used one of those cheapo cans to re-energize it.
The system worked for about 3 months, now when I flip the button the AC clutch does not engage. I am learning here.
I tested the clutch manually by connecting it to the battery directly and the clutch engaged.
in 1996 is there an AC pressure switch somewhere, that does not allow the compressor to engage if the pressure is incorrect? My thinking is that there is still a leak and it over time worked but eventually the pressure died?
If I bridge this connection the compressor clutch should engage, correct?
